artesprit

Following the success of this summer's Shoes of Rochester collaborative project, artesprit is busily preparing for next summer's project involving granite rocks, artists, and writers -- if the stones could speak. We are hoping to expand the number of installed pieces to twenty and are seeking sponsors, writers, and ultimately people to buy the embellished stones. For more info contact me or artesprit info@artesprit.org. We are also busily preparing an artbook with photographs of the shoes and the poems that went with them, complete with an introduction by our own mad Scotsman, John Nolan, bard, musician, newspaper man, and husband of Stephanie Piro, syndicated cartoonist.
